Join IATSE Local 18
We've been in the gig economy since 1893.
Our union was built by skilled entertainment workers who understood the importance of fair pay, safe working conditions, reliable benefits, and standing together in an industry built on demanding schedules and changing workplaces.
Today, IATSE Local 18 continues that mission by supporting the professionals who bring live events, productions, and entertainment to life throughout the Milwaukee region. Through training, representation, and collective strength, members gain access to opportunities, protections, and resources designed to support long-term careers in the industry.
Through collective strength and industry experience, IATSE has worked to advance fair wages, quality benefits, reasonable working hours, safer workplaces, and stronger protections against harassment and discrimination. The union also advocates for improved working conditions, professional training opportunities, and standards that support long-term careers in the entertainment industry.
If you are interested in becoming part of a skilled, professional workforce committed to supporting live entertainment and events throughout the Milwaukee region, we invite you to learn more about membership opportunities with IATSE Local 18.
